.....been a while since we last beat them at the CG....88 to be precise.

Recall a dank November day in the old second tier....we'd had a bit of a poor trot the Saddlers were struggling, crowd down to 5200, with a lot of moaners about Macari, not being at matches and leaving it to Chic Bates.

Still the hard core loyalists were to see a goal from Stigger Foley, sneak a one nil despite Digby having to pull out a couple of wonder saves to keep out former Shots striker Dale Banton....who'd been played in by Howard Pritchard.

Saddlers went down we went onto the PO's.....Macari left for West Ham.

Can't see us getting as many as 5200 on Tuesday, but maybe we're due a win.

We seriously need to win the next two games....Saddlers and Donny are just the sort of teams you want at the moment....

Well we got two home matches in a row, so these should be wins as were playing at our home ground but you never know with Swindon, so inconsistent.  Sad

I think we will beat Walsall.

We had the extra days rest, given they played and lost vs stoke saturday.  they have alos played more games in Jan, having played in FA cup (had replay vs Barnsley)

I think if we lose the next two games, I will be ready to possibly accept the 'R' word. But I hope to god that my thinking is wrong and that we can possibly get something from them both  Sad

We really do need to win on Tuesday. If we do I'll keep some faith.

A win on Tuesday could put a completely different spin on the table.
Hopefully we will be able to grab all 3 points, no matter how it hapens. That would put us back in contention to move up and out of the bottom 4.

I loved the way Freddie and the lads did that funny little syncopated dance thing, which consisted of jumping in the air and executing a kind of football flick....nobody has tried it since.

I could do the Shadows one....
