If what I’ve heard is genuine - and I have no reason not to believe it considering they’ve always been bang on - next season our aim is to get automatics out of this shit league.

2 CBs and a CF would be a good start.

I've heard our budget has been SLASHED and the owners see our future as a non league entity.

As observed previously, Stockport and (presumably) Wrexham may well make it tougher next season.

I’m happy I’ve read this post. Nothing alluded too - just an outright statement.

Expect Bradford to be contenders once Hughes gets his players in

Would be interested to know what Bradford’s budget is like. They have loads of season ticket holders but sell them so cheap it wouldn’t surprise me if our ST revenue was on a par or higher

Likely to be tougher than this season. Just hope we can get some much needed experience and a few physical players in. We will be losing a few we have with experience thus we need to replace these and add a stronger bench. Going to be interesting to see if Budgets are increased and we do compete with clubs at our level. With the support we should do very comfortably.

Can only hope and will wait and see. I remain sceptical. Like you I want out of this league absolutely detest it.

I'm not sure why people think it'll be a tougher league. FGR Exeter and Rovers are all stronger than the teams coming down. Stockport (and presumably Wrexham) may add strength but promoted sides haven't done brilliantly in the last few years.

McKirdy will leave in the summer but will return to having limited success at his new (championship) club. Keeping Egbo would be a good thing.
I heard at Walsall: Harry was going to Millwall. Austin was 99% over the line. Tyreece wasn't coming back due to costs involved. I've since heard Austin isn't coming back for a couple of reasons, one being money.

I'm inclined to agree. I can't really see Crewe, Donny or Gills doing a lot. Wrexham and Stockport are likely to challenge and although it's early on I reckon Orient, Bradford and Walsall are likely to be improved. If the board show real intent we should be top 3 next season based on what we were able to do last season when we had one hand tied behind our back.
