Absolutely, he is also a wide striker more like a slower version of Woolery, we don't really need another wide striker, an out and out backup winger or a number 10...yes, but not a wide striker.
How wide does a wide striker have to go before he becomes a winger?

I would suggest somebody who has trained all his career as being a winger and not a striker, a wide striker is a striker who has been trained to play wide in the channels.

Less the width more how high up the pitch Wingers are expected to perform attacking and defensive duties Wide forwards only need to perform attacking duties

According to Nixon Sunderland won’t allow Grigg to go to a L1 club and, didn’t realise this, Grigg’s home is only an hour from Swindon.

I read that as well. Thank goodness Sunderland are in L1, we could realistically be in with a chance here and that would be a huge statement of intent wouldn't it?

How far towards the north west from Swindon can you get in an hour? according to the Blackpool forum he still lives in the north west.

What's a wing back then? Just my opinion, but I'd say Isgrove is a winger and I wouldn't say he contributes much defensively (unless, like Saturday, he is employed as a wing back). Woolery, on the other hand, does contribute defensively.

He's rumoured to be on 20k per week, so I'd imagine our contribution to his wages would be minimal!

We played in the play offs in 2010. I saw Charlie Austin & Danny Ward score. I know because I was there.

Having had a read about it, Will Grigg comes from and his family home is still in Solihull.

That's obscene figures isn't it? We would only be able to pay about 10% of those wages I imagine!

On the Sunderland forum its said to be £10k, still way more than we could afford.

Having paid 3 million for him you could well believe it. Yes obscene for L1 if true.
