The town & the gown never mix. There are two Oxfords.
Actually the town provides the forelock-tugging servants for the gown. Rather like the fagging system. Never mind, their fans can have a nice game of Aunt Sally on Saturday afternoon instead. Hopefully fans will be allowed in when the game is eventually played. In fact Poxford have already sold out of tickets for their big game. Was a programme printed for the postponed game? |
