I heard this morning on Absolute Radio that there's some campaign going on to try and get people around th ecountry to buy as many copies of the original Hallelujah song as possible next week, to stop the X-factor winner from making it to number 1.  Hope it works as it is a legendary song that doesn't need the x-factor treatment.  My dear God Eoghan singing it and getting to number 1 would be a travesty.

I'm gonna write a Christmas song for next year to try and stop the x-factor.  May need some musical help with this project however.

The Leonard Cohen one? I heard it was Jeff Buckley's version? Possibly both.

You can't go one on one with a music Reality TV show - too many people get sucked in by it.

Sorry, it was the Buckley version, not the original.

And yeah it is gonna be the winners song, the art work for the cd's are ready to go (pretty much), my mrs has to make the call to her work to give the go ahead for the printing to start.  They only had Diana's art work ready last week, that's now in the bin!

There's a Rick Roll Xmas campaign going on at the moment. All it will take is 250,000 people to spend 70p on iTunes to buy Rick Astley's Never Gonna Give You Up to knock the X Factor winner off the No.1 spot.

Should be the 2Pac version.

Alexandra deserved to win, I'm sure she will go far.

I'd suggest to watch out for an X Factor music overload next year, I suspect that JLS, Laura (already got deals on the table), Diana (Was wanted by Gary Barlow who wants to go into music management - Cowell told him no chance) & Ruth will all get recording contracts

I thought Alexandra was fantastic and that duet with beyonce was amazing considering she only rehearsed with her for the first time at 5.30pm.

She is similar to Leonna but I feel she has more Raw talent than her.
