Pickled eggs with a large portion of proper seaside chips and loads of vinegar is king, pickled cockles are rather delightful too I remember back in the day, people used to come round pubs on weekend evenings selling pickled cockes and the like. Not seen that for years.

Pickled eggs with a packet of crisps. The blunsdon market do a large jar for about £6, well they were last December. Would recommend.

I pickled some eggs last year, but fucked it up, didn't boil the eggs for long enough. the husband of my girlfriend's half-sister does some mean chilli pickling, currently got some of his pickled onions sat in my kitchen, they pack a hell of a punch!
