I’m guessing he’ll be an impact sub for a few games.

Based on nothing more than how much football he’s played recently - I can’t imagine he’ll have much more than 20-25 minutes in him.

Sorry to be a pain, I’m on the go (I will read back, swear down). What’s the consensus? Positive?

People have their own view but I reckon it’s as good as we could have expected. Still haven’t addressed, for me, the nasty bastard midfielder.

Exactly what I said to someone yesterday, most of the players closest to moving into the “Experienced” part probably won’t be here next season.

Neither will a lot of fans if this half arsed bit of propaganda does not payoff. By that I mean mounting a valiant challenge on the fourth play off place only to fall a few agonising points short. There is no way we’re getting into that fourth place.

I can’t speak for everyone but I think it beat everyone’s (admittedly rock bottom) expectations.

We didnt sell anyone last minute. We’ve bought in enough players that we won’t have to fill the bench with school kids.

The players - like any signing are gambles.
If we get the old Swindon McKirdy back it’ll be a masterstroke but 18 months on, no goals, not a lot of football & a bloody serious heart op - I can’t see this being a glorious throwback return (would love to be proved wrong) & to be brutally honest you look over his whole career and his good form here is the expection that proves the rule.

Never seen any of the others play. Orient fans opinion seems to be the striker we signed will work hard but isn’t very good (which I think we could actually make use of due to our other attacking options) Leeds fans speak highly of McGurk and are a bit surprised they’ve let him go. He’s scored 4 and assisted 3 in 8 PL2 games, so read from that what you will.

I personally (and a lot of others) still think we have holes in the squad. Full back cover and the elusive defensive midfielder

Could be wrong ...however after watching the fans forum more carefully a 2nd time and seeing how Morfuni behavior suggest to me he was really upset and concernned with the bad atmosphere and the dislike for him personally. Just possibly this forced his hand to make these player signings.
What ever caused this reaction good luck and hopefully we can start enjoying STFC again.

Good summary Div, a much better window than expected even if additions are still needed in other positions.

Rumoured that Harrison Minturn was primed to sign for Middlesbrough on Friday but fell through at the late on due to the ‘Boro not selling somebody on. I guess that could well be a summer move if they are still interested.

Two and two making five, I  wonder if Clem being at Sunderland was killing two birds etc..

Well, I guess that makes sense as he wasn't likely to get a run on the wing now we've signed 82 wingers.
