A great guy and richly deserved. A real people person and remember him coming in the Swiss chalet pub after we we beat Sunderland at Wembley and joining in the celebrations.

Good on him, always comes across as a properly good bloke.

Did they say what for, broadcasting or charity work?

I assumed it was a belated recognition for chinning Jim Melrose for being a racist twat.

I will go against the grain. In the games he played we conceded more than our usual average, We looked better when frenchie took his place. That Tranmere away game was possibly the worst individual defenders performance i have seen in years

Any idea if Frenchie is still at the club?

I mean obviously he’s injured, probably rehabbing and maybe not able to drive?
If he doesn’t live in Swindon - would the club make him turn up for rehab here / team meetings / match days.

I wonder if his presence in the dressing room (if it isn’t there) is being missed?

That’s why you need meat in a balanced diet.

Assumed as much but he was our most experienced pro and someone who probably / possibly could still add something to the dressing room just by being there…but also something he’s probably not going to when he’s injured, all but retired and not local…

Club aren’t going to force him on either are they.
