Have to say,it was rather too close. In the Mirror,Beefy says he knew we were going to win, wish i had his confidence.I got up at six this morning to watch the highlights on sky,i was concerned that it hadn't really happened, but it did,we beat the bastards by 2 runs .

The worst thing was waking up and seeing that they needed 5 runs to win!, thought that was it but thank god for Harmison.

And with McGrath out for the next test aswell. I think someone should feed Warne raw chicken and then we are guranteed a win.

I love Beefy as much as the next man but he's very good at being wise after the event (or maybe he was just taking the piss!). I was convinced we were heading for a gut wrenching, demoralising defeat, especially when Flintoff's no ball went for four runs but we hung in for a fantastic win. It's not very often I say this about a cricket match, but I would LOVE to be at Old Trafford on Thursday morning. Just imagine the atmosphere with the Aussies batting first and Freddy just about to go steaming in on his home ground with the first ball of the day. Brilliant!

OST, lovely thoughts but seeing as Flintoff comes on first change he won't get the first ball of the first day.
Hell of a win.

Can they not change the bowling lineup then Boeta? Why change the bowling order when Harmison can use the new ball to his full advantage!?.
