I got TV back last night, after a couple of weeks without it. Watched 'My F***ing Tourette's Family' on C4, about a family from Bicester with two boys with Tourette's. The best verbal tick was whilst walking through a theme park and the 7 year-old points at his Mum and yells, "She had a BANGING shit this morning."
Joking aside the Mum was amazing and it made life much more challenging for them.

The funniest, but also most touching, thing Ive ever heard regarding tourettes is a girl called Jess Thom who goes under the banner Tourettes hero. Her interview with Richard Herring on his RHLSTP podcast had me in tears both from the way she dealt with her tics and the way she described growing up and facing it.
Well worth seeking it out on itunes or acast etc.

Into series 2 of Line of Duty now. Some of the lines still quite jarring and Kate can't act for shit, but some proper shocking scenes have made this all the more gripping. I won't post spoilers but I had to re-watch the end of episode one (S2) a few times.
Bloody love Keeley Hawes as well.

I must admit that whilst I watch LoD I don't think its the masterpiece that many make it out to be, its alright and all that but some of the story lines are nonsensical and as you say the acting quite crap in certain parts!

Its a brilliant series, renewed for a 2nd series too.
I'm not quite sure where they can go with a 2nd series.. seemed to be finished off well. Still, I'm sure it'll be worth watching.

It has it's moments, but he literally causes the death of someone on his nice little road to acceptance and happiness and he's ok with that in the end? Self important cunt.

Really? me and the missus found it hard going and didn't enjoy it much. Normally we really like Toby Jones stuff but that left us flat.

Well, we know where we're goin' But we don't know where we've been And we know what we're knowin' But we can't say what we've seen And we're not little children And we know what we want And the future is certain Give us time to work it out

I thought it rolled along nicely and was a typical Toby Jones offering. Not for everyone I guess...

Normally I love Toby Jones mild mannered stuff like Detectorists but I just thought the plot didn't actually really go anywhere. It won't stop me watch more of his writings though. Marvellous, which I know he didn't write, that was indeed marvellous.

Brooklyn Nine Nine is our go to comedy at the moment. Little slow to the party as i tried it a couple of times but couldn't get into it at first.

Halfway through Ricky Gervais’ new offering After Life.
Really superb stuff, goes from belly aching laughs to awful side of grief in a second
Just started watching this. Very sweet and sour. Kid in school playground to Gervais outside ‘Pedo, pedo’ Gervais to kid ‘If I was a pedo you’d be safe you tubby ginger cunt’
