Did any of you clowns ever criticize Alex Ferguson for going ape shit at his players?? what about when he put 6 stiches in Beckham’s face with a boot, did it mean he was a shit manager?? Delete your ‘has he gone yet’ thread bullshit, stop the witch hunt and get the fuck behind Shezza.

You're quite right, John Sheridan and Alex Ferguson are functionally identical in both approach and track record and everyone should be ashamed of themselves for thinking otherwise.

Had a nice chorizo sausage roll from Hobbs in Chipping Sodbury last week, chased down by a lovely bit of lardy cake. Can't say it made me more sympathetic to Sheridan. Maybe I need to eat another one.

Come on Mr. Sponge, it was "funny" a few times but surely there are better things to be doing?

Thai sausages are awful. Some are fermented and literally smell of piss.
Thank fuckery for the western butchers that have set up shop out here. I can still get my Cumberlands and what not.

Good ones do. Shit ones contain more rusk and other "bits". The smallholding I used to work on, all their meat products contained mostly erm meat What is more interesting to me is the long used marketing strategy of "meat" in changing the name of many products away from the animal name, especially with mammals. By way of dissociation so that there is less guilt/stigma/connection to the animal; Also our attitudes are fairly conditioned (if indeed we do eat animals) dependent upon our geography in terms of what is farmed/reared or domesticated. I find it odd when folk who eat Cow, Pig, Sheep etc with little to no issue, then take discomfort if another country eats Dog, Horse, Springbok. Yet it's very likely these animals have also been farmed for mass consumption in similar ways to our farmed animals. It's quite hypocritical really. If Legend's Lounge wants to eat tin after tin of Dog then (other than if we make an ethical and conscious choice not to eat meat) why should that be deemed worse than eating other rotting animal carcass? One to ponder.
