Blimey. I went to that, this i think was the brick throwing from the dual carriageway bridge game.

Yep, and a very interesting return to the train station (Stapleton Road if I remember)

I was also at this game. I think Terry Cooper got sacked afterwards. I think we went to Walsall on the Tuesday and got dicked 5-0 and we were shit for the rest of the season
Except for thrashing Rovers at home as well. 5-2 and Animal got sent off if I recall..........I remember the 4-1 game vividly because it was one of the fisrt away games I went to. It peed down.

Trip down memory lane for me. It was the August Bank Holiday weekend. I couldn't go to the match as I was in those days a retail shop worker in Old Town, however I took a late afternoon train down to Bournemouth to join my then girlfriend who was at the end of a weeks holiday with some mates. I had the misfortune to end up in a carriage stuffed full of Wombles fans until I got off at either Didcot or Reading. I felt sure I was going to get panned, even though I was in civvies, carried on a small case and kept my mouth shut.

I went to this one, am I right in saying that there was a bit of crowd trouble? Barriers ripped out of the Stratton Bank by Wimbledon fans?

Only one Stephen Finney!

Reminds me of Chris Hay a bit, like Hay just vanished after leaving the Town, injuries didn't help.

I remember Fjortoft's celebration, like a man with a weight lifted from his shoulders.  Not surprising really.

Couple of minutes earlier, a lot of Town fans were singing 'what a waste of money' at him when he missed another sitter.
