Not uncommon for a player to move down to Plymouth and not enjoy its isolation from city life.
I'd be surprised if they let him go before the seasons end.
Apologies for being a pendent but Plymouth is a city?

My understanding is if it has a cathedral then yes. St. Davids in west Wales is the size of Purton and is a city.

Plymouth is indeed a city... Not a great one, but a city nonetheless. Devon's a lovely part of the world to live in

I agree, Plymouth is one of the less appealing cities I know, I have family live there say the same. Devon on the other hand, well thats a different story altogether. I live 3 miles from the Devon border and can't help singing Wham's "The edge of Devon" every time I drive over the county border from Somerset

Plymouth was a decent enough place to live for uni, especially in the summer
Depends what you want really.
Places like Swindon get a battering but it's so close to genuine countryside etc.

On the transfer front, you'd expect something this week, right?
Similarly one of my friends went to Uni in Hull and loved the place, but its regularly derided as being a shithole. I went to Uni in Edinburgh and to this day remains one of my favourite UK cities.

Edinburgh is the only place in Scotland I would live TBH having spent many months of my life visiting there over the years where my mother in law lived. Every place has good and bad points, People knock Swindon but in comparison to Yeovil its a lovely place. You get out of a town/city what you personally want. As for players, Plymouth has always historically struggled as its 2 hours further south from Bristol and a lot of players even now commute to clubs daily rather than actually live in a place. Something that Swindon can benefit from being close to London etc. and only an hour and a half from Brum too. Mayor seems to be unhappy with living so far away from his young family who are still in the North West, and I think a move will happen in this window for him, probably to Tranmere.

There is literally no reason for it to exist, it offers nothing to anyone.
