Never forget the dissapointment of going to oakwell first match of the season few years back with king in charge. Parkin had left and I remember the words you can't replace a 25 goal striker like that easily so I have signed two decent ones to compensate. Thorpe and cureton.

Ew hot dog shit........that doesn't sound good. Cureton must have set a record for hitting the woodwork that season he just couldn't score. Thorpe well less said the better. We should win this saturday but as is often the way when your supposed to do it the underdogs find an extra gear. Will be a good test for our youngsters.

My brother in law works with some Barnsley fans and their recommendations are the Metrodome next to the ground and a wetherspoons,Joseph Brammers if that's any use

I'd say it was generous of Barnsley to offer a concession for living in Chippenham, even if you have to pre-book.

It's a shame because Barnsley are a proper old skool club who get the kind of gates, that we could get if things were a bit different. Every time I've watched the FLS recently that Hourihane, seems to be pinging one in with his left peg from 25 yards, hopefully he's now used up his quota of wonder goals.
