I didn’t listen to the interview, but could it have been tongue in cheek? If not, disappointing, considering all Andrew Hawes has done is ask very reasonable questions
Definitely didn't sound jovial to be honest

Credit to Flynn for changing it.
Credit to the team

what a feeling football can give you!

It looked like the same MO - do ok first half. concede second half. Go on to lose.

except we were stronger after their goal. Yes they hit the bar, but I really enjoyed the second half - first time in a while.

brilliant

I was thinking hold on for a point for 45 minutes, then Chas provided the magic at both ends.

I heard it in the car and took it as 'people in general can stop asking' rather than at Hawes specifically.

Bit off if it was personal,  not like there was no reason for it to be asked

yeah, he was unlucky with his shot hitting the bar, then the follow up was well blocked. nice to see him back amongst the contributions.

what happened at the other end, my eyesight from the town end didn't pick up on it

I did take it as "personal" rightly or wrongly but I agree, perfectly reasonable question

Went right back after the winner, marked Flint and then won two key headers, including out-jumping Flint.  He is an utter professional.

Austin must be on for an all time record of hitting the post this season. Must be half a dozen already.

In 5he interview  bit about late goals conceded MF was saying it was lapses in concentration rather than fitness.

The follow up question (perhaps not straight after the whistle - maybe in a pre match presser) is whether the lapses in concentration are the result of mental fatigue rather than a physical fitness issue ( the latter they will talk about running stats using the gps data, you can’t measure mental tiredness in the same way.)

Still a great feeling to get a late winner. COYR

Against Harrogate after the ball got stuck in the tree, when Austin came off and Minturn went to DM, the Town looked far more solid.  Sacrificing Austin for more midfield solidity against the counter was key, today.  When Mansfield put Flint up top late on, I wondered why it took so long to bring Austin on.  Midfield was being bypassed and it would put Cloughie in a quandary, bring Flint back to defend or leave him up there.  Cloughie didn't choose wisely.
