I believe we're making a mistake using smith over brezovan. Perhaps its being done becuase Brezovan was going to be sold all along? Im not being negative, just trying to point out some realistic business sence.

Remember when Bryan Smith and Alan Young had a trial with Celtic? That was amusing...

did you dream this or did it really happen

i was thinking the same sonic, if that happened the celtic manager at the time needs shooting. Was it John Barnes at the time? shittest manager celtic had i reckon.

It was Dalgliesh - he invited them to have dinner with him.  Smith was supposed to be a very hot prospect at the time, needless to say it was before Alan Young had shown how bad he really was.

£2m would be good business and another kick in Wise's nuts as Brez came here as a favour he called in.

In a footballing sense I would hate for him to go, but putting aside any boardroom shenanigans, if half that money is used on the team we could easily be pushing for promotion imo.

A six figure sum wouldn't be quite as good. Especially as some of that would be based on appearances one would assume

Well we all know Jim Little and Co want to sell players to make a profit. We also know that if the takeover is going to collapse we need to pay the CVA. If the current board had any sense he would be going for 1 mill so we can pay it. Or perhaps this is being used as a solution to the possible disagreement  over the takeover in which Jim Little and Co supposidly do not want to pay the CVA.
