Does it really matter that much if we go down?
Absolutely yes. The times we've got out of Div 4 have been on the back of spending money we didn't really have. In the Macari case, creative accounting. In the Diamond Mike case, SSW might bail us out. In the Black case.... his money. Power will just trim the budget. We've seen evidence recently that our present squad would not look out of place in the Conference, and Rovers nad Oxford have shown that despite only 2 down it's quite feasible to end up there. OK, things can always change, but someonr like ColU who we've played a fair bit in recent years, are currently in the relegation slots of Div 4.

So your point is does it matter if we go down and do well?
Well no I suppose not, but it's so hypothetical it's pointless.

BOO & Rodgers both start. Anything less than a defeat will amaze me. 2-0, Ranger & Cox.

Like us tonight.
They might surprise us. But they probably won't.

Three ex Town players in their team and two strikers, and we have all our scapegoats on the field. Two negatives make a positive perhaps?

Interesting to see Obika and Delf start, and Young, Smith and Twine on the bench.
Sods law we'll score first and beat them 5-0 tonight. Or concede first and Simon Cox will add another Hattrick to his resume.
