it's a sad di when all we can talk about is the kit...
On another note - I was looking at that photo in the club shop of Brez with his arms around Billy and Macca - it's almost like Brez knows something that we don't... trouble is I can't quite put my finger on what it might be...
Any transfer news?
Anyone interested in knowing how green the grass is?

Not sure if I like design of that kit - looks like it could be quite heavy when it gets wet. Although I must say the idea of the team running out with hats on and holding a lump of cheese would be rather unique...
Looking again he does look like Billy Paynter aged 65

Me. I am. Official site hasn't had an update for a few days now, which is a shame.

It's quite green. 70% of a lime.

On the subject of pitches... why did Kazahkstan have man-hole covers down by their corner flags?
As far as I am aware the match commentary never got to the bottom of this mystery.

We were wondering the same thing. They explained the astro turf was to cover the man hole covers, but then failed to expand to the obvious question of why they've got them at the corners of the pitch. Though they did say the pitch was already as small as possible under the rules, so they couldn't reduce the size of the pitch further to get them out of the field of play.

The man hole covers were left there as an escape route for the England players in case we got beat!

To be a twat (because a lot of the time I am one) the reason they had man hole covers was simply to cover man holes. The question is therefore, why did they have man holes that needed covering?

That lump of cheese is very "loaf of bread" like.
