A debateable point...although we never played a non league side duroing his time either. I was told by a very reliable source, before the Sunderland game, that the club had been informed we would be relegated come what may. |

not the impression myself anda few of my mates got from chalky white before the post match parade reg.
as a 16 year old i might have read his joy wrong.but having seen the 93 docu i dont think so as his joy seemed the same to me.we had a chat with him and his mrs with tiny child in tow that day and he was over the moon

I blame Macca for the goal, he decided to come back with the ball on a break and then try going back forward thinking he could take on three Histon players. He got subbed after that.
It's a bit sad seeing Ifil frozen out, they all made mistakes, but not even on a bench of seven. mad.

I've said all along that Malpas dropping or freezing out Jerell Ifil is a fucking disgrace. Mistakes aside, he's an honest and committed pro who should be playing first team football, not being hung out to dry and treated like a scapegoat for some shit results.
Aljofree's antics today sound like par for the course. Pointing fingers at others in the vacuum of conceding a goal is the mark of a bully, not the actions of a motivating captain. He's performed well recently, but he wont do himself any favours by blaming others when he's at fault. I wonder if Malpas and Fitton are too scared to drop him?

Nah, just enters the roll call of shame of STFC managers who've lost to a non league side....Bert Head, Danny Williams, Lou Macari and Steve McMahon.
Who incidentally outside of Glenn Hoddle are the only STFC managers post war to have won anything.
We never played a non league side under Hoddle.
That's the only thing I can cling to with any hope. Every one of the players should be kicked squarely in the plums...and the only one who should complain would be Timlin. |

 If we are looking forward to a 'bounceback' result against Brighton to repay the fans i predict the following: Malpas strolls into The Arc and puts £500 behind the bar and tells us he is resigning ,whilst the so called players serve the drinks. Arjofree stands on a stool with a dunces cap on while we all shout abuse at him - how does it feel? Club lay on a fleet of Limos to the ground. We piss it 6-0 - all overhead kicks from 30 yards out.  We all riot at the end and try and invade the pitch but after ten minutes of running we still havent reached it and pull up with stitch. All go down to Brighton for another giant piss up............. |
