I back the giant to win, probably by late stoppage as Haye has a real tendancy to gas and no defence to speak of.

Having said that if our boy makes use of his speed advantage and really works the body then he too could force a stoppage.

There's another huge fight next weekend as well: Pound-for-pound #1 Pacquiao vs a very big Welterweight in Miguel Cotto.

I'm not really that into Boxing but one fight i'm really looking forward to seeing is Pacman V Mayweather if it ever happens.

Assuming Manny comes through that, we'll have the fight of the century on our hands.

As for Haye, I can't wait either. I think he'll win on points, think he'll be too sharp for Valuev to land anything massive, but can't see Haye, or anyone else, ever knocking Valuev out.

Yep, I'd be suprised if this doesn't go to points. Pleasantly so, but suprised nonetheless.

Apparently, according to today's paper, It says that Haye's contract states that his ring walk starts between 10 and 10.30. German broadcasters say 9.30.

Wonder whether that was fixed? Think that the commentators said earlier that they are looking for some razz-a-mataz in the heavyweight scene. Valuev doesnt give that, but a dancing, fast and hard hitting Haye does.

I saw it on tv and it wasn't even close. I was pretty sure after the first couple of rounds that Haye was going to win and by the end Valuev looked completely beaten and was really struggling and Haye didn't even seem tired. Didn't have to wait for the decision to know that Haye had won, great fight from him, Valuev barely got a decent punch in, in the entire match. The judge who scored it even must have been on crack.

Current P4P #1 Pac has blistering speed and genuine 1-punch knockout power, but WW champ Cotto is a big bugger and will enter the ring maybe 10lbs heavier.

I can argue for either fighter to win... Cotto's body shots won't be anywhere near as effective against a Southpaw, Cotto's jaw has been cracked, Cotto's stamina is questionable, Pac has never been hit by someone as big as Cotto, Pac's body is vulnerable, Pac's camp has been disrupted... whatever, it is a massively interesting and exciting fight and one that boxing fans the world over should embrace and enjoy. It is quite rare these days that two fighters in their prime go head to head.

For the record I am backing Cotto to win.
