I have been keeping an eye on that site recently. There are a few good posters but on the whole 90% of them seem to lack the intelligence to structure a decent sentence together and think that the inbred, webbed fingers insults are new and cutting.

You're not wrong there, that board is an insufferable wasteland. Possibly the equivalent of your "thisis", though I've never been there. We don't have a decent message board, used to have one a few years ago but that went and the sensible poster crowd dispersed.

What time does the ticket office close on a weekday? I rang up at around 4:15 to get tickets for this and there was no answer?
Also looked online and they don't seem to have the Oxford tickets up, only Crewe and Rotheram.

Pretty sure it's 5 and regarding Oxford tickets they might require proof of address on purchase so that could be why they aren't available online.

Cheers mate.

I'm guessing this genius, if indeed of an Oxford University origin, arose from Oxford Brookes Wink

That's a bit uncalled for  Huh?
My daughter's a Brookes graduate and I'm sure that everyone I have met from there has somewhat greater wit, creative ability and common sense than to consider that as anything other than embarrasing.
I don't think there's any more of a connection between the yellow people and Brookes than with their more august neighbours  Wink

Erm, sorry, I wasn't being serious. I was expecting to get a bite off a TEF member or two.

When  Fishing. goes bad.

Anyway, surely the bigger insult for your daughter was Oxford fans go to Oxford Brookes.

Too true - as I implied, thankfully I've not seen any evidence of such a connection.

I was too busy backtracking and apologising to read the whole reply.

Anyone know the ticket office number? I tried 0871 423 6433 but it seems to be a conference number and no one answers!

Be warned, it took me ages to actually get through to anybody - tried a number of times over the course of 3 days until somebody finally answered. Not sure what they're playing at. Even when I left my details on the answerphone nobody got back to me.

Thanks - but after a bit of investigation I found this number:
0871 876 1993

and got through immediately, first time!
