Yeah, I agree, I can't stand Jools Holland either, I never watch that Hootenanny bollocks.

Going to see 3 Doors Down, on Monday. Not really my cup of tea but taking my Dad. Sadly the last gig I imagine I will be able to take him to as he has terminal brain cancer and his life expectancy is not too good. He did make my laugh when I told him I will have to take him in his wheelchair, he said can we take that in the moshpit, I tell him probably not, so he says ah its Ok take down the front and the pressure of the crowd will hold me up , good man living it up till the end

Id give sunday a miss or go home early. Just so I didnt have to see Jools 'look I invented the piano, look at me playing with every single band, here's the vaccines now with an added sodding piano solo from me' Holland.
Did you know he can play the piano?
Hahahaha, you've just summed up exactly how I feel about Jools Holland better than I ever could have...

When I got home from the Northampton match on NYE I started feeling shit and stayed in. We watched his pile of muso wank hootenany programme and I had the urge to smash open the piano lid and smash his head in it several times.
As I say I was feeling shit. Im not usually that angry. Much.

His TV show is one of the few I regularly watch though, they book varied and interesting acts and there's precious little music (especially good stuff) on the box.

Jules Holland was great but has become a bit of a pastiche of himself.
I still like his show though for soome of the music he has on there.
Here he was at his best:

FREE GIG @ Poole Quay, Bank Holiday Monday April 9th 2012.
The southern launch of The Specialized album with all proceeds going to the Teenage Cancer Trust with my boyshttp://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRdCwCyDc3ie8DQLzouCt9OdH6jnwj0FyU3LVo9y_iN1UasxNoqQ15P0J7eSg headlining.
The album is a covers album of modern ska/two tone bands covering Specials songs, all for charity.

Just bought reading Tickets. I know people will slag it off, because it's the fashionable thing to do, but I don't care. Think this years line up is better than last years, really looking forward to it

I am pumped for them. Very psyched. Was excited for Foo Fighters, untill I found out Justice are on at the same time. And experiencing this, live, at night, in a tent, may just sway me over dave grolhs brilliance
