Anyone got this app or something similar?

I'm always hearing songs in the pub, on the radio etc etc that I think "this sounds good must find out who it is" so either have to text the lyrics into my phone (geek I know) or try and remember it, fed up of this so wondered if such an app is actually any good or not?

Soundhound is free too. It is on Android anyway.

I have used both Shazam and Soundhound. Shazam worked really well. Soundhound failed to match in the car the other day, but I've only used a a couple of times.

Have to say my music taste are fairly mainstream, not sure how well either work on weird shit.

I prefer soundhound to shazam as the latter rarely finds a match. I use it on the htc desire hd. Soundhound definitly gives you more info about the song tham shazam.
