I was sad enough to go back and find the post quoted.
Did you sign back up just for that, The Saint?

Whatever you think of the DUP (and it's not much, I'm sure) they appear to have got a brilliant financial deal for Northern Ireland. Perhaps we should all vote for regional parties prepared to sell their support to the highest bidder?

Seriously, is this in anyway justifiable? I cant see how even the most ardent tories can claim that May is viable as a leader. She's fucked up a vanity general election and to cling to power is now in the pockets of the DUP. She's spunking taxpayers money on elections and deals that are not for the good of the country in anyway.
Come on you tories, justify this - without saying 'to keep in power and keep corbyn out'.

It's just about self interest - which sums up the Tory philosophy really.
Rich, Stupid or Selfish sums up any Tory voter up in my view.

I understand the short delay was just a question of dotting the i's and crossing out the LGBT's.
(Cannot take credit for that, shamelessly stolen from Twitter!)

In principle the Tories are literally buying the votes of the DUP, what a message to all the youngsters who have become more interested in politics lately. The message being that, despite it being swept under the carpet for the last two elections, first past the post and the rest of the system is nonsense and at times patently corrupt. AV and an overhaul needed.
Thoughts on Cable as the new Lib Dem leader? He's not been afraid to go against the grain of his own party and leaders at times, though I do not know a lot about him otherwise in terms of his principles and history.

Assuming that May manages to spend enough to cling on, he will also be nearly 80 before he has to contest an election.... In better news house prices in London are up after a woman spent £1.5bn on a place in Downing Street....

Both Tomlinson and Buckland voted down the proposal to end the Public sector pay rise cap. Cunts.

Not exactly surprising... of course, they had an 11% pay rise. It's debatable if they're in the public sector.

tbf when you've just spunked a billion quid on bribing reactionary terrorist gunrunners, you can't go around wasting public money on a couple of extra quid for such notorious layabouts as coppers, firemen and nurses. That wouldn't be prudent management of the nation's finances would it now?
