I doubt that there was ever a time when some kids did not lack respect.

Unsurprisingly as a teacher you need to earn respect. It helps if you respect the students, too.  Set your boundaries and stick to them. Don't be an arse, it all helps.

You also need good support from your boss and middle management to get through the early years, but you can reuse lessons so not everything needs to be made from scratch, and you'll have been building up relationships with the students, which will also help.

I had a tough first year, but I'm very happy now.  I had a great head of department from my second year, who is now a mate, and that really helped.

I went into teaching after working in the real world, and I think that really helped.

You'd be surprised. Some primary kids can be orrible cunts. But this is about staff. End of the days it's down to respect. Some kids lack that nowadays.

Left work at 5pm and being a Friday I anticipated a bit more than usual rush hour traffic at manington rounabout. To my surprise there was none, and I mean none.
Why? Because the fucking traffic lights were switched off!!!! How long will it take to realise that those traffic lights are not needed! Just get rid of them.

Try Blair's Ultra Death Sauce. A mate tried a teaspoon of it and it ruined him for 24 hours.

First week of new job finished and I fell asleep on the sofa at 11pm last night. Not used to this working in a constantly busy environment malarkey

Tried Dragon's Blood sauce at a food show a few years ago.
It was just there, in a bowl, with some cracker pieces to try it.
No warning or anything.

We all tried it and were walking round like dribbling flid zombies for the next hour.
I like spicy food, but fuck me that was ridiculous.

Some of them were nice, but likewise, I thought they were too spicy, for a crisp, that is.

I do love spicy food... but that takes the piss.

Fuck me, these pilots have got some skills. The states they're getting planes (and helicopters) into is mental.
