Desperate for this match, been to Hereford a couple of times & its a great away trip in a crap throw back to the eighties kind of way. first time I went was a Saturday , think we took around 1,800. The second was a Tuesday night when we took 750 ish.

I'm not a season ticket holder so I just hope theres 1 lonely ticket available for me

The promotion season under Sturrock was great fun, except for being treated like prick by the police at the station.
ThenHereford gave us the whole stand behind the goal as we sold out our first 2 allocations

http://www.footballgroundguide.com/hereford_united/#What%20Is%20It%20Like%20For%20Visiting%20Supporters?

"If demand requires it then an additional 650 seats can be made available in the Blackfriars End. Please not though, that these seats are uncovered and therefore open to the elements"

Might be able to get a few more if we sell out the 1200 then?

Tickets on general sale now, have just bought myself one.
Only around 5-600 sold to season ticket holders so far so around 800 tickets remaining;  thought we would have sold more than that at this stage

Also, being on hold isn't quite as annoying as it used to be. They tell you were you are in the queue and how long you will have to wait. They also play Wise Men Say instead of the usual shit.

Been there a few times and we always take a good following (even for the friendly as few years ago). Crap ground but lots of character - a bit like Barnet.

So much so that the Hereford chairman once complained that our following costs the club disproportionately in Police charges, IIRC he blamed one season's failure to gain promotion on not being able to buy a striker because of the fees involved when we played them.

Was OTT when we were there during the promotion season. But it was their decision then to open the rest of the stand to us and give us more tickets

Sadly couldn't get terrace tickets, but it is unallocated seating, so hopefully a proportion will still stand near the back without upsetting anybody.

New ground for me - is it usually a decent atmosphere in the seats? Any recommended pubs?

They must have found a few lying around the office as I was told on Saturday morning and again at 8:45 today that there was only seating left.

Slow old service this morning - spent nearly 15 mins being told I was first in the queue - got almightily sick of Can't Help Falling In Love With You by then!

Are we on that shitty terrace behind the goal that they've now bolted seats onto then??

Yes, there is a picture on the link someone else posted earleir. Terrace tickets sold out Friday PM, 100%, i think some are confused as the seating behind the goal states 'stand' on the ticket. Was also told £16 for a seat but was charged £14 and £3 for my kid. Sensible pricing for league 2, seeing as they are Welsh (give or take a valley or two)

According to the ticket office today we are along the side, upper tier.

Looks like Cheltenham got behind the goal (right side) plus the standing last week, although with our larger following i have no idea where they will put us

Well up for this one... lived in Hereford 9 months.  Lots of good pubs in the town a stone's throw from the ground, the closest being JBs although that's a bit modern for my liking....

Darren Styles in the Jailhouse in the evening.  Should be a jolly good day....

I believe that is the case with the extra allocation.   They have put up a couple of shitty little temporary stands (think the seating bit at Rovers but without the roof) on that decent old away terrace.  The H&S knobheads say that terrace is no longer safe.

anyone else got tickets for the temporary stand?

I bought tickets on Tuesday for £14 and Jock told me that they were for the 'terrace' behind the goal. After checking on the football fans site, I think this is the two temporary stands (blue seats) behind the goal. Don't think they are seats bolted on the terrace as someone else has stated, rather a new-ish seating 'stand'...if that makes sense?!!  :hmmm:

I think we have sold out the two tier stand, with the terrace below, so now they are selling tickets for the tempary stand behind the goal. OS says we have sold 974.

Looking on the back of the ticket, the end of the two tier side stand that we have sold out, is at the same end of the ground as our temproary stands behind the goal. So we should have all the town fans next to each other.

the temp stands at the back of the goal are indeed at the same end of the ground as the away section on the side of the pitch, i have been to this dump already a couple of times this season to watch a mate play, the atmosphere inside the ground is shit as most who go seem to be oldish folk who sid down and occasionally shout "come on hereford" there are about 20 young lads at the opposite end of the ground in the terrace behind the goal that sing but very quietly. we should dominate this game and the atmosphere. That temp stand looks like an atmosphere destroyer, a bit like the Withdean - so hard to generate any noise with an open roof and sides. I'm sure everyone will give it their best shot though.

I've got a terrace ticket, first away game since 2007 - young family etc  So I'm well up this!!!

I'm not going Satdee, so it's easy for me to say, but...............

Someone on another thread suggested that everyone at Hereford should chuck in a quid to pay of the fine.
I know the club can easily afford £1k, but I think if there are 1,000 fans at hereford and they all chuck in a quid to pay the fine, it would send a real "fuck you" message to the FA.

And as the tickets are only £16, thenit's still a cheap match !!

In my absence, could I suggest that someone takes a bucket
