To be honest though if we dont finish the job then we deserve to go down! i couldnt give a rats arse what others are doing!

We know we're not good enough to do the jpb ourselves, if it was the case then it would have happened by now.  Recent history tells us sometimes you have to rely on others like in 01/02...when we stayed up courtesy of Rovers incompetence and Wycombe's effort.

Looking at remaining fixtures I think Carlisle or Northampton will go down with Brighton, Hereford and Cheltenham. Well I hope so anyway.

I can understand having an interest in the football world and whats going on in other leagues but to have a thread dedicated to a match between yeovil and northampton on a swindon forum seems quite frankly a little dare i say it, obsessed!?
If we play well enough to stay up then brilliant! If not then we will obviously go down which is exactly what we will deserve!

Well i'm sorry for being "obsessed" by wanting to see if my team is going to go down or not.

We're all members of a football forum because we're obsessed.... or mental.

oh well if we deserve to go down that ok then

it'll still fucking hurt and still be fucking shit and result in us playing fucking shit in a fucking shit league two playing fucking shit teams in fucking shit stadiums who take fucking shit number of no more than 150 to the CG.

Fucking brilliant.

I dont give a flying fuck what we deserve. I want us to stay up at all costs and if that means another team(s) going down because they considerbly fucked up their last couple of games (like Rovers did before) then I wont complain.

Obsessed, of course I (we) are obsessed about Swindon Town and lets be honest here - no one, not one of us wants to see us in L2 again...

Quite clearly some members of the forum, are more obsessed than others.

Cheltenham and Hereford are goners.

Brighton are near goners.

Looking at the remaining fixtures, both Northampton and Hartlepool look vulnerable.  What you want is mid table safers with no chance for the play-offs.

Cobblers

Scunthorpe (H)
Bristol Rovers (A)
Southend (H)
Leyton Orient (A)
Hereford (H)
Leeds (A)

Pools

Hereford (H)
Crewe (A)
Scunthorpe (H)
Yeovil (A)
Leeds (H)
Bristol Rovers (A)

Let's hope Peterborough have been on the piss for a week before we play them after getting promoted.

I think Yeovil winning was the best result for us. Northampton have 4 games against promotion chasing teams, 2 games against relegation threatened teams and only 1 against a mid table team. I'd say there is a lot of brown trouser action in Northampton this evening.

I won't be feeling so cocky if we lose against Crewe at the weekend.

If Rovers had won their games, only Swindon could have got relegated on 52 points.  Note the gratuitous inclusion of Poxford.
