I was just wondering what everyones thoughts were on jamie. First of all he doesnt seem to have a spark in my opinion. Andy King described him as a "goal scorer" well from what i have seen he is very much like Fallon... he wins the ball in the air flicks it on, but i dont see him scoring many goals for us this season. I am very suprised at this because i know a lot of people hate Kingy but one thing you can't deny is he has an eye for a player, but this seems to be an exception. What do you think??

He linked up well but didn't look a threat in front of goal

Remember that it was a choice between Slabber or nothing, spurs are paying his wages and it's not even a waste of a loan as we have more long-term loans left than we'll need.
So anything is a bonus really.

Na i ent saying it was a poor performance, he played well winning everything in the air. But if he was brought in as a goal scorer i cant see that happening. No different to Rory

Slabber looke to have more of an eye for goal than Rory in my opinion, but you really can't judge on wat you've seen so far.
Colchester-he didn't have a chance of impressing anybody Brentford-he played 5 minutes Southend-the whole team were shit Today-he didn't have many chances, but neither did Parkin. It all came from the midfield today which was a nice change.

the only thing at southend is that he got 2 shots on target in 10 mintues (they weren;t fantastic)! from my memory more than the rest of the team combined for 90 minutes

Did I watch the same player as everybody else?
Thought he looked weak, muscled off the ball on numerous occasions and didnt win much in the air. Looked mildly rubbish to me, although I've only seen him play once. hope theres more yo come

yeah but he actually shoots! that means he might actually score goals unlike a certain mr fallon. i think grant smith has scored more in a month than fallon has all season!

Yes, but Smith is finally being given a decent run in the side, unlike Fallon.
