Anyone used this site before to purchase contract phones?

Seem to have some pretty good deals but cant help thinking theres some catch somewhere or whether theres a large payment up front.

Looking at the deals with free Wii as think my dad fancies himself as a bit of a wii bowler.

Sony Ericsson W595, free wii and 45 quid cashback doesn't sound all bad but a tad dubious.

My other half just bought a W595 from mobiles.co.uk with a free PS3. They do Wii's as well.

I'd advise against anyone doing a cashback deal with any retailer.

How come?  I dont really know how it works if im honest.  its not the cashback bit im really fussed about its more the free wii for the rents as they were going to buy one anyway!

Cashback involves sending bills in and stuff and it's a pain in the arse. They tend to sting you with strict deadlines.

You have to send off claim vouchers every so often with copies of your bills. Sounds simple. However I know a few people who have sent off vouchers and not received the next one and when they phone up it's hassle to get another one.

Or in my case, I was never given a voucher at all - this was with phones4u. Went in about a month before my first claim period was due and asked how I did it. Had to ring customer services. By the time I got the voucher through, sent it back it was a day late so they didn't pay me at all. If you miss one claim you miss all the subsequent ones. So I think I had about £180 down the drain.

In the end I phoned up and moaned and got paid the whole lot in full, but it's too much bother for my liking.

I had no problems with my cash back thing years ago with vodafone, used to have to send off 3 bills or something then it was just credited back to my bill.
I guess it would depened on how organised you are n stuff...
Im prttey sure most of the mainstream places are offering free consoles chick pea...

I just had a look and it appears that site pays you automatically with no bills or vouchers to send off.

I'm sure the console should be easy enough to claim, check how that works too. I doubt they'll deliver it before your contract cooling off period has elapsed.

I tend to be a bit cynical of these deals after almost getting stitched up. Worth checking the small print but if it checks out then happy happy, joy joy!

Jeez remember if it sounds too good to be true it is! You'll get stung one way or another.

I gave Sam the web address of the one I used. Got a new phone and a free wii. No problems at all.

I used to love Ren & Stimpy. Dunno how they got away with airing it on a kids television channel, it was well fucked up.

My missus got a free Sony Ericsson somethingorother and a free PS3 from Carphone Warehouse. That was on a 12 month, £35 contract (that she was on anyway before the upgrade)
