Ok, so the missus and I are off to London next month for the NFL at Wembley..

We are going to do a couple of museums, and maybe even head to Borough Market for some lunch (on the Saturday)..

Anyone got any ideas of some nice restaurants in London for us to go to on the Saturday night?

We are staying in the Camden area, but we don't mind where we go.. Needless to say, I'm not looking for something like The Ivy or anything... after all, I do some overtime, but not that much!!

We eat most things, except seafood (it kills me)..

Thanks..

Try Oxo Tower on South Bank. Ask to sit in restaurant  rather than brasserie and for a window seat. Great views over Thames, good food and not too expensive for a Harvey Nics restaurant in London.

Cool, thanks...

I've heard Bodeans BBQ is good... anyone been?

I want something different to your regular Chinese/Indian/Italian type.

There was a stag weekend thread a couple of months back that covered what you'll need.

Never been to Bodeans but my sister in law and her family swear by it.

Don't go to a restaurant, go to Dinerama in shoreditch. Street food at its best. Much. Enter than any restaurant.

Tough with such a non-fussy brief as there's million and one good places. Bodeans is average, Pitt cue infinitely better. Flat iron, smoking goat, polpo, Berners tavern, Lyle's, Merchants Tavern, dishoom among my favourites.
