Title: Cheese Post by: Doore on Thursday, March 5, 2009, 23:38:50 This is a topic that means a lot to me. I am a cheese lover. Please note, a lover not an expert.
My current favourite is a delicate Blue Brie. I also have a soft spot for White Stilton, and Leerdammer accompanied by a spiced apple chutney. My recent cheese on toast triumph involved smoked cheddar, parmesan (without which no fridge is complete - often my fridge contains nothing more than cheese, white wine and lager...) and mozzarella, with a sprinking of black pepper. A bit of brie, left out to warm up all day, is irresistibly delicious. As is just nibbling a lump of strong stilton. When I was working at my dad's place I used to uncontrollably nibble on all the manchego (hard sheeps cheese) and the lovely creamy tetilla (hehe. small breast.) There was a really nice pungent blue cheese I used to devour at every oppertunity too, but I can't remember what it was called.
