Evans is a traditional wideman who operates down the left flank and poses danger due to his pace, tricky skills and fine crossing ability. Cardiff-born, he came through the Birmingham Academy to sign professional forms at St Andrews and is also involved in the Wales Under-21 set-up, having been placed on stand-by prior to becoming an Owl..

Exactly what we don't need apparently.., especially if he's as average as Collins.

We don't have any cover on the left wing though.

I would say the two positions we need most at the moment are wide midfielder and strong central midfielder which is the hardest to fill.

Not two wide midfielders though so it would be either Summerbee or this guy.

Final score was 4-2 to us.

so for wide players we have:

Nicholau
Shakes
Roberts?

thats all i can think of, so im assuming that it will be summerbee or evans as king probably can't afford both!

Wide left we can play Nicolau, Nicholas, Smith, Caton
Wide right we can play Shakes, Smith, Summerbee, Roberts.

Hard tackling midfielder we can play Huh??

Rubbish.

Only three of those players are natural wide players.

But Smith is primarily a left back and so is Nicholas, Roberts doesn't like playing there and Caton is still a youth teamer, so we have just Nicolau on the left with Caton as back up and just Shakes on the right unless we sign Summerbee who is only currently on a 10 day contract.

I went to the game and Evans didn't really stand out. Given a bit more time on the ball he may have made an impact. He was replaced by Caton in the second half, Caton stuck to the wing and did well. He put in several crosses one of which Shakes should have scored his third from.

Stef came off after 60 minutes or so and appeared to be limping Sad

Shakes played brilliantly, and could have had four or five if he had taken his chances.

Bulman didnt have the best of games and really should have saved both of the Cheltenham goals, especially the second. Lets hope we can get a decent loan in as backup for Rhys.

That doesn't matter.  In this division you need a squad of players who can play in positions if required whether natural or not.  Therefore i think we have sufficient cover.  The centre, we are lacking any sort of cover, in midfield or defence
