Just saw that Peterborough's brand new 2,500 capacity stand will have it's debut against us on Saturday 22nd November. I'd have thought that would get a good away attendance especially after last season!

Could be a big game with them flying high at the minute and us looking like we should be...

Seems a little unambitious in terms of capacity for a club with their aspirations/potential.  Were there planning constraints?

Always a good away day that one. Better get a stock of felt pens in

Posh are top of the league, spending money on players, cheaper tickets than us (with the option of a proper terrace!) and still only get 6,000 fans.

Real shame that owner of theirs didn't invest here as he's wasted at Peterborough.

Ok for an away end. Guess in time they could build a larger home end plus a bigger stand on the car park side.

Spose that will become the new home end and we will get their old cow shed - which is still standing I believe, although God knows how

I thought 2,500 was a little low. Championship away attendances should sell it out easy enough.

Looking at their site they'll be redeveloping the other stands too. http://www.theposh.com/news/article/20140603-terrace-now-available-for-the-season-1597710.aspx

I don't know where the away fans will go, but I'd have thought there'd be a shuffle around.

We were in the middle of the stand nearest the river last season, they might even keep it like that until they finish building.

They have a 'webcam' of the site.

When really it's just 4 images that get updated... they'll get updated in 15 mins. Oh how exciting...

It's probably all that JPT money that's helping them afford a new stand!

I've just gone ahead and favourited this tweet:

https://twitter.com/SuperPosh7/status/509340401946611712

"Swindon Town will be the first visitors to watch their team lose from the new Moy's End. Hope they enjoy it."

This SuperPosh guy was a absolute wanker last season. I hope he gets egg on his face come 5pm on the 22nd November.

Assume they will chuck the home fans in the new stand and we will have behind the other goal? Hope we aren't on the side as it was shit there last season

If they do use the new stand as an away end, it looks like it'll basically be a slightly bigger version of Wycombe, complete with 'basketball hoop' rings for pre-match entertainment.
