Very good signing, can go missing at times, but you get that with flair players sometimes. Almost guarenteed 10 goals from midfield + assists per season.

Very happy with Ritchie as a permanent signing, still don't think we have seen the best of him so hopefully some great performances to come.

Very pleased with this. He has blown hot and cold a bit at times but think he's shown he has a touch of class at this level.

happy to hear this news, though now we've signed ritchie i cant see ward coming back. Fitton isn't going to fork out 200k to see ritchie warming the bench, unless Danny could play a 4 3 3 with him austin and ward?

Or Danny Ward the striker, could actually play upfront!

OT, Proper happy about Ritchie signing!

did we ever play ward as a striker? i only remember him on the left wing. but yeah his preffered position is upfront i guess so why not

Where is that thread where Leefer basically slated the crap out of him before he even played a game?

As i said Dave i am warming...both his best matches have been in front of the cameras......maybe you should take your poloroid against Yeovil Dave.......because some matches he has been non existant.

Still the option of Ward Left, Ritchie right. He seems to be more effective when cutting in and using his left to shoot/cross.

I think this is A Good Thing - Ritchie signing, not Dave being um... Dave. I think that primarily because I'd forgotten how young Ritchie is. Therefore I can let him off some of his mistakes on the grounds that he probably isn't shaving yet. Now if Pericard turns out to be 16 I'll be more sympathetic to him too.

The game against Torquay was his best....but it was Torquay.

Nice to have a tricky wide man who can actually cross.

Pericard will never see 16 stone again, let alone 16 years..

DMR's post there makes interesting reading in hindsight....

A great season the year before with a long unbeaten run and a trip to the playoffs.....a key player leaves in the summer.... following season a let-down marked by inconsistent results.... where have i heard this before?
