I don't think he ever started a game with Real Sociedad. He had a trial with Liverpool but they didn't want him, so he played for Dorchester in the conference south, scored six goals in seven there then Wrexham signed him and he's scored 12 goals in 21 games for them.

Don't want this to haunt me, but I think Ugarte is slightly over-rated as he's had a sensational-type impact i.e.: hat-tricks in high scoring games etc. but I'm not sure whether or not he'll maintain it.  Similar to the unjustified hype around Lee Trundle.

I'd like Mooney back Oops

The chairman of Dorchester owns a couple of hotels in the south. Ugarte came over in the summer with another couple of Spanish players to play for Dorch and work in one of the hotels.
