i'm convinced it'll be someone none of us have mentioned on here. an appointment completely out of the leftfield again.
Remember when Ardiles was apppointed, we'd gone through the usual list of candidates for the time, in the Adver, Radio Swindon and in the pub.
Then I see the Adver headline that it was Ardiles....don't think my gob had been so smacked...
At the time, I think there'd only been a couple of other foreign managers....probably Danny Bergera, who was a You Are Gayan and Dr Jo Vengloss...a Czech.
