I see on some of the other message boards that the Town fans up near the away fans are taking a lot of flack. Seems unfair to me. Didnt think any of the chants were that bad?  Shrug

Certainly no 'whos that wrapped around the lampost', or 'I was standing on the corner of the county ground hotel' or 'youre gonna get your fuckin heads kicked in'.

Are the majority of STFC fans turning into Reading mark 2!???

i've been reading that as well, fucking joke.

not sat up there for a couple of weeks but it's good fun and pretty harmless banter.

after all, why should away fans be made to feel welcome?

I sat up there on saturday and wouldn't say it was anything to complain about, just a good bit of banter between the fans.

I suppose most other teams aren't used to it because most clubs put away fans in a stand on their own.

I was sat in the next block to our fans and there was nothing sinister going on... it did look as though the average age of our boys was about 16 though!

some people like watching a game standing up, thats the only reason.  I hate sitting down at football.

Cos they think they can give it the old Lobster to the Away fans, i bet they get Mummy to wait outside in the Car after the game to make a quick get away.
