Personally I mix it up a bit. When you've worked a 12 hour day the last thing you can be bothered to do is cook, but I do enjoy cooking.
Likewise, I often buy ready made sandwiches for lunch purely because I'm bloody lazy.
Compared to the burgers at the county ground, Maccy D's is gourmet.

That's not a burger though. I made some home made burgers the other week, must do that again sometime as it's a very cheap dinner. |

McDonalds sell Burgers for couple of quid,they fill the gap when your in a hurry.Im sorry to hear the dont meet your culinary needs but they probably arent really aiming to impress you Jay Rayner Master Chef types.

the breakfasts are nice.i go into the one by tk max now and then if i've dropped the kids off. the service that time of day is very good.
the burgers aint that great, but i do indulge now and then on the odd big mac or 3.

The breakfasts are good, can't argue with a bacon roll, hash browns and a cuppa. Although I've only had that once, so maybe I got lucky by going to the right McDonalds at the right time!
Generally the burgers look a bit rubbish, I tend to have something with chicken instead which can be hit and miss but always does the job of filling my stomach, which is all I really expect.
