Anyone else see Jimmy Carr last night at the Oasis.

Quick review.

Pretty funny, more smiles than rip roaring laughter.

Most of the material was utter flith, or the lowest form of piss take, e.g. quadraplegics etc.

The best bit was when he did ad-libbed banter with the crowd.

BUT, for me the night was partically ruined by some fuck wit female heckler who would just NOT shut up, even when pretty much everyone was literally shouting at her to shut the fuck up.

What is it with these people, a bit of attention seeking is one thing, but this was way OTT, I can only conclue she was on drugs.

Yeah, I was there!  The woman (Jo I think) sat at the back and constantly heckling was bloody annoying, and even wore Jimmy down towards the end I think!  He eventually snapped and said "oh do shut the fuck up love".

Jimmy is one of the best at responses to hecklers though and is very funny.  I have seen funnier material on his DVD's but it was worth the £22 for the ticket.

The organisation at the Oasis let the night down though, 1600 people all trying to go to 2 small toilets at the same time is a bit much, and entry and exit needs to be made easier rather than one staircase.

I met him in town yesterday. Well when I say met, I mean I gave him directions to a coffee shop.

I thought he was excellent and really good value for money (even if I was in the cheap seats with no back). Compared to 1 hour of Ricky Gervais (£12 more per ticket), 2.5 hours of constantly funny material was great. As has been said the ad libbing was brilliant, and while the crazy woman went a bit OTT towards the end, I dont think it really spoiled it as he had a put down for everything.

I saw a few Facebook status' about this woman last night and it seems she made an impact!

Anyone know who she is? (Apart from being called Jo)

It was probably one of those idiots from Exeter away who thought it was funny then and probably still do now.

Kurt from Glee reminds me so much of Jimmy Carr.
